Scott Marshall
Scott Marshall

Chief Claims Officer

Scott is a seasoned Multi-line Claims, Managed Care, Underwriting, and Marketing Executive with 40 years of experience. He joined K2 Claims Services as Chief Claims Officer (CCO) in June of 2019 to build a world-class TPA focused on exceptional customer service, mitigating Loss/ALAE & providing state of the art technology.

Scott grew to be a leader at Liberty Mutual, responsible for the claim operations on the West Coast. He then went on to lead the US based Claims Team at Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies & American Claims Management (ACM) and held senior leadership roles in Underwriting/Marketing at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency (AGIA) and OnPoint Underwriting.

Scott has an impressive background in all types of claims, managed care, underwriting, and marketing leadership in large operations. He is a past President on the Board of the Pacific Claims Executive Associations (PCEA) and previously held leadership roles with the International Association of Claim Professionals (IACP) and the California Department of Insurance Advisory Board.

Tony Buglio
Tony Buglio

Senior Vice President of Property Claims & Catastrophe Coordinator

Tony has over 30 years of property experience in residential and commercial claims. He manages a team of in-house examiners and developed and trained a network of Independent Adjusters specializing in commercial and residential claims. He created the captive K2 Catastrophe Team after Hurricane Andrew which consists of a network of over 5,000 independent adjusters throughout the country.

Tony has managed and controlled every type of catastrophe from Katrina to the Camp Fire. He has adjudicated losses to the benefit of the policyholders, with industry-leading results since 1992. Tony has provided field intelligence to the product/marketing divisions when creating product offerings throughout the United States. He has implemented risk management language within the products to manage exposure severity.

Outside of work, Tony is an advocate working with inner-city youth of Harrisburg, PA, and has been a football coach for over 20 years.

Damien Carlson
Damien Carlson

Senior Vice President of Commercial Claims

Damien has over 20 years of experience adjusting and managing commercial programs across multiple lines of business, including professional liability, commercial auto, general liability, and commercial property. He spent more than twelve years at American Claims Management (ACM), where he managed and developed numerous programs spanning a wide range of industries, such as school and public entities, manufactured housing, sports and recreation, alarm and sprinkler systems, salvage and tow yards, ski resorts, high-end retail and hotels, veterinary malpractice, snowplow operations, and construction defect claims from both developer and subcontractor perspectives.

In addition, Damien has managed programs for insurers, self-insureds, risk pools, and reinsurers. Prior to moving into program management, he held senior adjusting roles handling professional liability claims (D&O and E&O), public entity, commercial trucking, complex commercial property  as well as construction defect matters.

Damien is well-versed in analyzing and developing successful programs and works closely with insurers, underwriters, and insureds to create strategies that mitigate and control risk. He is also experienced in CAT management and served as team lead for multiple events, including Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, as well as several earthquake events such as Napa, Anchorage, and Ridgecrest. Damien remains active in the claims community and has participated in panel discussions for CLM events.

Matt Della Mora
Matt Della Mora

Vice President of Claim Systems and Operations

Matt began his claims career in 2006 with Mercury Insurance Company as a Casualty Adjuster handling automobile losses. At Mercury, he progressed through assignments of increasing responsibility, including complex bodily injury claims, coverage analysis, and residential property. In 2015, Matt joined Aegis Security Insurance Company as a Senior Examiner. Within two years, he was promoted to Supervisor, leading a team of examiners and independent adjusters handling complex California property claims.

At K2 Claims Services, Matt advanced from Director of Operations and Claim Systems to Vice President of Claims Systems and Operations. In this role, he supports new business onboarding and applies innovation and deep claims expertise to drive continuous improvement in claims systems, workflows, and operating results.

Matt holds a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, with studies in finance and international management, and an MBA from Arizona State University, with a focus on international business and supply chain management.

Lennie Castellaneta
Lennie Castellaneta

Vice President of Property

Lennie has 20 years of comprehensive claims experience across multiple specialties including Liability, Property Field Adjusting, Catastrophe (CAT) Claims, and Property Large Loss Field Adjusting. His tenure at Nationwide afforded him the opportunity to train and mentor new property adjusters, strengthening organizational capability and talent development.

He has held several senior leadership positions, notably Chair of Nationwide’s Subrogation Committee, Supervisor of Complex Claims, Council Chair for K2’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, and AVP of Property. In his current role as VP of Property, Lennie manages five property units, overseeing day-to-day claims operations while also co-directing the CAT team in partnership with Tony Buglio. His strategic oversight and collaborative leadership continue to drive operational excellence and team performance.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Lennie and his wife Allison are the proud parents of three daughters, who actively participate in Cheer, Lacrosse, Volleyball, and Basketball. He enjoys coaching his daughters in Basketball and Lacrosse, playing Golf and values time spent with family.
Lennie earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College in 2005.
